ICI Ice Cream Shop- College Street, Berkeley California

Last Saturday after attending the open house at UC Berkeley we had lunch at La Mediterranean, a fantastic restaurant on College street. It is just a couple of doors down from the famous. ICI, Ice Cream shop. College Street is just one of the many areas in Berkeley have restaurants that offer the best gourmet food that you can ever imagine.

Expect a long wait....but its worth it!

Next to the restaurant was a beautiful flower vendor. If you have room for dessert, check out the Summer Kitchen.

I have not posted any photos in a long time, your comment was a nice reminder of how fast time flys by. Spring is here and I am looking forward to seeing all the flowers in bloom.

It's Complicated

My new favorite movie, It's Complicated. If you haven't seen it yet its worth the expense of going to the theater to see. The set design is dreamy. Check it out.

Castello di Amorosa, Napa Valley Winery

Last weekend I went with my sister and mother to Napa. We stopped at the Castille De Amorosa Winery for a little wine tasting. Check out there web site: http://www.castellodiamorosa.com/ Dario Sattui had all the brinks sent over from Italy. It has taken him fourteen years to build but it looks like it has been there for hundres of years. This is my all time favorite winery in Napa, stop by the next time you are in town and I am sure you will be amazed as well.
